Spring in Seattle

I traveled up to Seattle for a few days last week and had a fun time exploring the city and catching up with old friends. The spring flowers on the trees and throughout Pike Place Market were so beautiful, I wish I could have taken a bouquet of tulips home on the plane with me! - Canon: amazing, inventive cocktails
- Rhein Haus: huge German-style beer garden
- The Pink Door: Speakeasy-style spot with burlesque shows
- Rob Roy: great cocktail program
- Fremont Brewing Co: great outdoor beer garden
- Schilling Cider House: nice spot to taste unusual ciders

Tasty Restaurants
- Any one of Tom Douglas's restaurants, seriously.
- Barolo: food-coma-worthy Italian with a fantastic Happy Hour deal (50% off bar menu entrees and $4-5 drinks!)
- Top Pot Donuts: creative flavors, multiple locations
- Moore Coffee Shop: if you like waffles and cute animal drawings in your latte foam
- The London Plane: pricey but cute breakfast cafe
- Fremont Sunday Market: food trucks!

Sightseeing
- Chihuly Garden: beautiful museum of Chihuly's glass works
- Fremont Troll: kitschy local attraction
- Pike Place Market: touristy but fun
- Olympic Sculpture Park
- Seattle Public Library - awesome architecture
- Kenmore Air: fun way to tour the city, by seaplane!
- West Point Lighthouse: great spot for sunsets
